One World, One Sky: Big Bird's Adventure at Liberty Science Center (Jersey City)
When one kid worships Sesame Street and another loves astronomy, it’s rare to find a “family-pleasing event”—until now. Enter “One World, One Sky,” an imaginary trip involving a visit from Hu Hu Zhu, Elmo’s friend from China, then continues with an exciting discovery of the sun, moon, and stars (with special attention given to the Big Dipper and the North Star.) Upon their “return” to Earth, they celebrate the idea that even though they live in two different countries, they still share the same sky. (Cue: “Awwwwww...”) Recommended for ages 4-6 with adults. Sunday, April 4 at 11:30am, 1:00pm, 2:00pm; Tickets $3./child/$4./adult
