Bryant Park's Winter Village Returns For its Seasonal Run
Sharpen your skates and start searching through your winter gear for a matching pair of mittens: New York City's only FREE ice skating rink has set its opening day, and it's only weeks away. The Winter Village at Bryant Park reopens to the public on Friday, October 29, and we've got all the details on what's in store this season.

The Rink at Bank of America Winter Village
Good news: If you have your own skates, The Rink maintains its status as New York City's only FREE ice skating rink.
Skating sessions again must be booked online in advance to limit the number of visitors on the ice at any given time. Reservations are released on a rolling basis throughout the season, which runs through Sunday, March 6, 2022.
Masks are encouraged on the ice, and enhanced cleaning procedures will be employed again this season. To ensure the maximum number of visitors have a chance to skate, sessions are limited to 55-minutes apiece, so arrive on time! In addition to limiting attendance and encouraging masks, The Rink is instituting increased cleaning of high-contact surfaces throughout the day.
All skate rentals include a “shoe bag,” a small drawstring-style backpack, to wear while you skate, so travel lightly. You can purchase one if you're bringing your own skates for $5 or bring one from home. A bag check is provided for larger items or anything that won't fit inside your shoe bag but comes at a cost, ranging from $5-$15.
