In this workshop, you will discover the many different kinds of caterpillars and where to look for them. You’ll understand why caterpillars eat what they do and what helps them turn into a butterfly. The Port Jefferson Chamber of Commerce invites families down to Harborfront Park to Cruise the Sound from 5pm-7:30pm on a live banjo cruise on Saturday, and participate in old fashion games and fun on Sunday. Games include old fashion kite flying, 3 legged races, potato races and so much more. This festival is the 100th anniversary of a 1911 festival called Old Home Week held in Port Jefferson.
