Kid Activities In The Hamptons And North Fork This Weekend: June 15-16

6/11/13 - By Natalie Silverstein

It's the middle of June, and that means several things: strawberries, hayrides, and Father's Day love. As the weather gets warmer, it's a great time to explore the North Fork, where this weekend you'll find the Father's Day Farm Fest at the Harbes Family Farm, as well as the 59th Annual Lions Club Strawberry Festival. This Mattituck tradition kicks off Thursday night and runs through Sunday with rides, fireworks, and plenty of strawberry treats. Bring your appetite. There are also opportunities to create crafts for Dad on his special day, or take advantage of half-price admission for Father's Day at the Long Island Game Farm. Looking for something a little more cultural? The Parrish Art Museum in Watermill is hosting open studio and a family gallery talk and art workshop. Read on for a full listing of weekend activities for June 15-16.
