Saint Patrick's Day may not be for another week, but you can get an early start on the festivities this weekend with the annual parade in Stamford. If lots of Irish-themed marchers aren't your thing, how about helping assemble an undersea Lego creation in Norwalk, learning about the mysteries of the Maya in Hartford, or taking in some live theater in Bridgeport and New Haven?

Of course, maple sugaring and other winter festivities are ongoing, especially in Woodbury, Ansonia, and Middletown.
