Get ready for fireworks and festivities! July in Houston brings 4th of July, outdoor movies and concerts, and summer festivals galore.

The big event of July is celebrating our country's freedom, and we can't wait to head downtown for Shell's Freedom Over Texas annual event for lots of fireworks and family fun. A trip to the island is also in order this month for another round of Galveston's Family Beach Challenge, where there's a full day of obstacles and life-sized games. After, we recommend sticking around and checking out all that Galveston has to offer. Finally, we're just as obsessed with Encanto as everyone else, making the Encanto Sing Along Film Concert at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion an absolute must.
