From Lunar New Year Celebrations to Mardi Gras to Valentine's Day, February is packed with activities for kids, indoors and outside. Don’t miss our favorite free and fun things to do in Houston with kids this month.

February may be the shortest month of the year, but it’s packed with fun!  Ring in the Lunar New Year at Asia Society Texas, laissez les bons temps rouler at the family-friendly Family Gras during Galveston Mardi Gras, and mark your calendar for Family Day at the Houston Grand Opera’s Hansel and Gretel—an experience we attended last year and truly loved.

These are just a few of our favorite things to do in Houston this February, and we're adding more events to the Houston Events Calendar daily.
