Drive-in Movie Theaters Near Philly and Outdoor Movies Playing Now

Watching movies under the stars is a traditional summer bucket list activity. Many families have enjoyed the resurgeance of retro drive-in theaters and popularity of outdoor pop-up movies near Philadelphia to watch their favorite films as a result of the pandemic. The trend continues this year!

Mommy Poppins Philadelphia has rounded up a few drive-ins located throughout the region that are certainly worth the drive. Some spots are near the Jersey Shore while others are close to the mountains. We've also included venues that provide an outdoor movie experience without sitting in the car. Bring a blanket or lawn chair to those.

Most drive-in movie venues require online ticket purchases, so be sure to view the schedules in advance. Our list is constantly being updated with pop-up locations since organizers are still confirming their events. Check back often for new options.
