Holiday season is heating up in Orlando with a ton of exciting Christmas things to do this weekend with kids. But it's not all about holidays, yet: don't miss the hot air balloon show, and nature activities at a range of locations.

Kids itching to get into Christmas activities already? Santa has a busy weekend lined up in Orlando: Try Breakfast with Santa on Saturday morning at the Festival of Trees. Later in the day, Santa is set to make an appearance at the Audubon Center's Christmas-themed event, "Owl be Home for Christmas", and at the end of the day at Bass Pro Shops' Christmas kick-off event.

But it's not just about the holidays! Kids can try some fun crafts at the Peghorn Homestead "Picnic and Pig-out", at the Sand Art activity in Phelps Park and as part of Aviation Weekend at the Orlando Science Center.

If you need something quieter, the Crayola Experience and the Science Museum both offer sensory-friendly hours on Sunday mornings.
