Mommy & Me Workout Classes on Long Island
It might seem like summer is a lifetime away, but bathing suit season will be here before we know it. I don't know about you, but I have a hard time fitting in exercise with two little ones running around, so the easiest way to workout is to include the kids in on the fun. Fit4Mom

Also known as Stroller Strides, Fit4Mom is Long Island's largest workout program for moms, offering both pre- and post-natal fitness classes. The classes are geared towards any fitness level, and children from newborns to preschoolers are welcome to join in on the fun. During the winter months, classes are held indoors at Broadway Mall, Sunrise Mall and The Source. In the summer, classes are outdoors at local parks. Absolute Yoga

A class for moms (or dads, grandparents, aunts and uncles) and their child, ages 3+. Share quality time together in this fun-filled class where yoga , stories, movement, games and fun will be shared. Six week session on Sunday from 4pm-5pm. $150 for 2 family members ($5 extra for each additional family member).
Zumbini
1754 Harton Avenue, East Meadow
Zumba is a popular fitness choice for moms, and this class--designed by Zumba instructor Linda Bancalari--allows you to take your little one (ages 0-3) with you. They'll love dancing, clapping and shaking a maraca to the music. 10 classes costs $185.
Wee Warriors Yoga Playtime

The Postnatal Yoga class allows new moms to bring their babies with them. There are classes offered in several locations in St. James and one in Sayville. Call to sign up for a trial class and get pricing info.
LI Fitness Boot Camp

Moms can get in some cardio and strength training with their little ones (ages 6 months to 2 years). Participants can sign up for a one-month trial for $60.
Saf-T-Swim
Various locations throughout Long Island
Although it's not a traditional fitness class, swimming (or simply just walking around the pool) is one of the best workouts out there. Babies and toddlers can acclimate to the water while mom gets some exercise.
