Math Help Resources for Kids in the Hartford Area

9/6/15 - By Clementina Verge

Acute angles and interceptors, vertex and trapezoids, being a kid isn’t easy! Many children do not get excited about math, and some outright dread the subject because they find it difficult. Thankfully, the Hartford area offers plenty of options for securing additional help.

Consider contacting your local community college or university. Not only will you find professors looking to supplement their income (especially during summer months when most children regress in their skills), but department secretaries can refer graduate students or future educators whose hourly rates might be less than those of established professionals.

Learning centers, an increasing and valuable presence in many communities, are another option. Click on the name of each business listed below and learn details about its services, staff, and prices; many offer a free consultation.
