Where To Go Blueberry Picking Near Orlando at Family-Friendly Blueberry Farms
During April and May, Orlando blueberry farms allow guests to pick buckets of blueberries while enjoying a family day outdoors. Many of these u-pick blueberry farms in Orlando offer additional fun activities such as sunflower picking, playgrounds, tractor rides, and more. U-Pick Blueberry Farms Near Orlando
1. Amber Brooke Farms – Eustis
The 2024 u-pick blueberry season at Amber Brooke Farms has begun! Two varieties of blueberries are available for picking: Sweet Crisp and Prima Donna. On the weekends, enjoy outdoor games, playgrounds, a slide hill, bounce pillow, cow train, hayride, and much more. Credit/debit cards are accepted (no cash). The farm's annual Blueberry Festival takes place on April 13, 14, 20, and 21, 2024.
2. Artisan Acres – Eustis
Artisan Acres opens Saturday, April 6 for the 2024 season. The farm offers five acres of blueberry bushes featuring four different varieties, locally sourced honey, handmade soaps, and cute farm animals to visit.
3. Beck Brothers Blueberries – Windermere
This blueberry farm near Orlando plans to open in early April for the 2024 season; check the farm's Facebook page for updates. Three varieties are available for picking, including Jewels, Emeralds, and Windsors. Shop the farm's delicious orange blossom honey as well. Cash only.
4. Blue Bayou Farms – Yalaha
Blue Bayou Farms offers certified organic blueberries for u-pick. Fields are typically ready in late April or early May. A craft distillery and country store are also on site, selling homemade pies, jellies, and more.

5. Blueberry Hill Farm – Clermont
Blueberry Hill Farm is open for the 2024 u-pick season with organic blueberries available for picking. The farm offers hay rides, yard games, and fishing as well. Operating hours are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10am to 5pm.
6. Chapman’s Berries – St. Cloud
This St. Cloud blueberry farm will open late March for picking. Be sure to check the farm’s Facebook page before heading out, as updated hours vary depending on weather and crop availability. Cash only.
7. Ever After Farms – Mims
Ever After Farms is scheduled to open mid-April 2024. Four varieties of blueberries are available: Jewel, Emerald, Arcadia, and Kestrel. In addition to berries, families can enjoy a petting zoo and the Blueberry Express tractor rides.

8. Far Reach Ranch – Tavares
Blueberry season kicks off March 27, 2024 at Far Reach Ranch. U-pick is open Wednesdays through Saturdays 9am- 5pm, Sundays 10am-4pm, and sunset u-pick events 5-8pm on Thursdays. There is a playground for kids to enjoy. Honey and jams are available for purchase as well.
9. Irv’s Sweetberry Farm – Apopka
Irv’s Sweetberry Farm offers fresh blueberries for picking. The farm is scheduled to open in early April 2024; check the farm's Facebook page for current updates.

10. Southern Hill Farms – Clermont
U-pick blueberries are available now at Southern Hill Farms, with three varieties to choose from: Jewel, Arcadia, and Emerald. Additional activities include u-pick vegetables, peaches, sunflowers; a covered playground barn; yard games; and sweet treats. On the weekends, enjoy the kids zone, double-decker harvester tour, wagon rides, food trucks, and live music.
11. Tom West Blueberries – Ocoee
Tom West is open for the 2024 season with several varieties of berries available for u-pick. The farm is open seven days a week, 9am-5pm. Kids enjoy swings and basketball. Weekend activities include tractor rides, boat rides, and bounce house. Blueberry treats available for purchase as well.
12. Whitehead's Blueberry Farm - Winter Haven
Whitehead's Blueberry Farm opens March 30, 2024. Operating hours are Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 8am - 4pm (closed Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday). Blueberry jam and local honey is also available for purchase.

13. King Grove Organic Farm – Eustis
At King Grove Organic Farm, blueberries are limited to pick-up or shipping only. Ordering begins March 28, 2024, and pre-ordered blueberries can be picked up at the farm on select Saturdays.

14. Mount Dora Blueberry Festival - Mount Dora
Celebrate the tastiest blueberries at the Mount Dora Blueberry Festival April 27-28, 2024. The event will feature live music, crafters, as well as blueberry beer, blueberry pancakes, blueberry wine, blueberry pie, and much more.
15. Blueberry Festival at Keel Farms - Plant City
Head over to Plant City for Keel Farms' Blueberry Festival, taking place in 2024 on the following days: March 30 and April 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, and 21. Attractions include all things blueberries, as well as camel rides, petting zoo, bounce house, and unique vendors.
16. Orange City Blueberry Fest - Orange City
The annual Orange City Blueberry Fest takes place April 20-21, 2024 and features arts & crafts, delicious foods and treats, bounce houses, live entertainment, kids activities, contests, and of course, blueberries!
Blueberry Picking Tips
- Always call or check each farm’s website/social media BEFORE visiting, as opening days and hours depend on crop availability, weather, staffing, etc.
- Depending on how far the farm is from home, bring a cooler to preserve berries for the return trip.
- Instruct children to only pick berries that are ready, so that others have time to ripen.
- Bring sunscreen and/or a large hat for sun protection.
- Closed-toed shoes are suggested.
- Make sure you bring the preferred form of payment depending on each farm's request.
