Come and celebrate the second annual Long Island Fine Arts Festival this weekend at Einsenhower Park. See original artwork, stunning photography and discover the art of handmade jewelry. Long Island is home to some of the nations most lush, beautiful and majestic gardens. The Garden Conservancy invites families out this Saturday to take in the tranquil and peaceful atmosphere that embodies several of Long Island’s gardens. Take part in self-guided tours with special features including twisted trees, a woodland garden and so much more of the beauty of nature. Rain or shine The Garden Conservancy welcomes you.

Ever wanted to see how that pretty cotton sweater you love to wear is made? Bring your family to the Fleece and Fiber Fair to learn all there is to know about the processing and harvesting of fiber from alpacas, llama’s and sheep. Be sure to stop by the workshops featured at the fair such as sheep herding, shearing, wool dying. Demonstrations will also be held throughout the day. Stop by the fiber market which will have fiber-related items for sale.

Where can you see cool exhibits, learn about crafts and eat yummy food? This all takes place this weekend as Deepwells Farm County Park hosts the Annual Spring Arts and Crafts festival. Over 75 Artists and Craftsmen will showcase their work on this beautiful venue. Children’s activities, musical entertainment and delicious eats will truly bring out the springtime festival feel! Celebrate our shelled friends, Turtles! Quogue Wildlife Rescue spotlights these wonderful creatures this Sunday as you will be able to meet all kinds of tortoises and turtles. Be sure to dress for the weather as a hike is planned to search for Native Turtles in the Refuge’s Wooded Trails.
