During this AdvoKids program at the Long Island Children's Museum, learn about MLK beyond his 'I Have a Dream' speech and gain a better understanding of his impact on the Civil Rights Movement. VParticipate in a gallery walk of images from the Civil Rights Movement and then create a bell to “let freedom ring."

AdvoKids is a monthly series focusing on children learning what it means to be an advocate for themselves and others. Adults will learn how they can support their child’s self-advocacy efforts, which promote confidence, resilience and empathy. 

Workshops at 11am and 1pm.
