WeeWork Kids Activity: Easy Thanksgiving Turkey Cookies
Nothing says Thanksgiving like quality time in the kitchen with your family. Even kids can get in on the action decorating easy, fun and quite adorable turkey cookies. These sweet treats are perfect for your Thanksgiving day desert, or a thoughtful take home favor for your guests. Or they can be a great way to use up scraps of leftover pie dough. Thanks to our friends at Taste Buds Kitchen for sharing this cute idea.

Start with an already baked circle shaped cookie (homemade, sugar, pie crust, cookie dough or any store-bought cookie will do), plus colored frosting (homemade or store-bought), candy corn and sprinkles.
1. Put your frosting in a piping bag (or ziplock bag to make it easier), and cut a small tip at the end.
2. Ice the top area of the cookie in a small zig-zag and "glue" down candy corn to make the feathers.
3. Using the icing make the eyes, the beak and two little feet.
Feel free to customize your cookie using colored sprinkles or mini chocolate chips.
This project was contributed by Taste Buds Kitchen, a NYC-based kids kitchen by day and adults BYOB kitchen by night, offering budding chefs creative and unique cooking events for kids, families and adults for Cooking Parties, School-Holiday Camps, Gingerbread House Decorating Workshops and more.
