- see all dates
The Mouse celebrates Year of the Snake, as Disneyland Resort puts its trademark spin on Lunar New Year festivities. This limited-time, multicultural celebration commemorates Chinese, Vietnamese, and Korean traditions with a touch of Disney magic.
Park entertainment includes the return of Mulan's New Year Procession. Mulan is joined by Disney pals and a spirited group of entertainers - including a Chinese dragon puppet, warriors, drummers and dancers - in this procession that can be enjoyed multiple times throughout the day. Also returning is Hurry Home, a dazzling short nighttime water show celebrating family and friendship, that acts as a pre-show before World of Color - One.
Adding to the festivities are special appearances by some popular Disney Characters—including Mickey and Minnie - dressed in colorful Korean attire. Other Disney favorites including Mulan, Mushu and friends from Turning Red visit the park dressed in vibrant outfits inspired by Lunar New Year.
