Parents know that kids need to run, jump, and play. But you don't need to fret when the Atlanta weather thwarts those plans with torrential downpours, freezing temps, or blazing hot summers. Instead, take your kids to one of Atlanta's many indoor play spaces - a surefire boredom buster and way to let kids expel all that energy. We've rounded up the top indoor playgrounds for kids in Atlanta, from toddlers to teens, to wear themselves out. Many of these indoor play areas also offer birthday party packages and summer camps. To experience many of these kids' indoor activities, families just need to sign a waiver and bring socks to wear during the visit.

In addition to the junior Ninja obstacle course, Boomerang offers a slide-and-play structure with a foam ball launcher! Kids find the digital ball-throwing wall especially entertaining, while toddlers get their own play area with slides and a large ball pond. Best for kids up to age 14.

3. Ready Set FUN! - Sandy Springs 

Playtime sessions last for two hours, perfect for kids ages 6 months to 8 years. The facility offers a soft playground with climbing, slides, and a ball dump station. The Imagination Sandbox offers a different daily theme for a special sensory experience. 4. Children's Museum of Atlanta - Downtown

With the mission of helping children from birth to age 8 learn through play, the Children's Museum of Atlanta provides a variety of activities and hands-on exhibits. 5. Hippo Hop Indoor Playground - Brookhaven

Hippo Hop features a rock-climbing wall, every kind of ball and indoor sport, obstacle courses, bounce houses, a toddler-only place space, and more. Hippo Cafe offers healthy snacks and drinks for kids and adults. Insider tip: Purchase tickets in advance to guarantee your entry time.

6. LEGO Discovery Center Atlanta - Buckhead

The newly redesigned Lego Discovery Center Atlanta includes Pirate Adventure Land - a pirate-themed, indoor playground for all ages, as well as Duplo Park for younger visitors. 7. Catch Air - Multiple Locations 

With five indoor playgrounds across Atlanta's suburbs (Johns Creek, Snellville, Cumming, Marietta, and Dacula), Catch Air provides convenient access to inflatable wonderlands perfect for kids. 8. Kids Empire - Marietta and Johns Creek

Buddy's Indoor Playhouse offers 4,000 square feet of entertainment with developmental toys, role-play stations, and a driving track. 10. Sky Zone - Smyrna, Roswell, Atlanta, and Buford

This trampoline park includes freestyle jump, dodgeball, a Ninja obstacle course, and air court. Check specific locations for additional activities, like a climbing wall, zip line, trapeze, boulder balls, and more. Kids of all ages may visit, but certain activities have age minimums. 11. Tiny Towne - Norcross

12. We Rock the Spectrum - Roswell

Insider tip: Wiggle Giggle offers Spectrum Sundays for kids with sensory issues on the second Sunday of each month from 9-11am. 

15. The Play Pad - Fairburn

South Fulton families can visit one of the best Atlanta indoor playgrounds at The Play Pad, featuring inflatables, bumper cars, an obstacle course, VR, and more. Designed for kids from birth through age 12, this indoor activity center also hosts birthday parties. Insider tip: Reserve a spot for Tuesday Toddlers, exclusively for kids ages 3 and under, from 10am-noon. 

16. Playroom East Cobb – Marietta

This sensory gym caters to babies through elementary school-age kids of all abilities, including those with sensory challenges, autism, and ADHD. This new 42,000-square-foot indoor playground features a three-story jungle gym, foam pit, slides, trampolines, toddler area, and more for the entire family, including parents. 20. Pokiddo Trampoline Park – Duluth

Featuring 20 attractions, this Duluth indoor playground includes a trampoline zone, zip line, multi-level ropes course, slides, and mini go-karts. Younger kids will flock to Pokiddo’s soft play area. Insider tip: the pass includes three different price points depending on which activities you want included.

21. Vertigo Fun Center â€“ Alpharetta

This inflatable airpark offers an obstacle course, bounce area, slides, climbing wall, tunnels, and more. You’ll also find a café, arcade, and birthday party packages. All participants must wear Vertigo socks, available for purchase for $4. Insider tip: Although open to kids and adults of all ages, Vertigo requires a paying adult to accompany children ages 5 and under on the inflatables.

22. Isaac’s Sandlot – Chamblee

Young kids take delight in rolling dump trucks, riding excavators, and digging for treasures in the huge sandbox. Kinetic sand tables and board games are also available for kids while parents catch up on emails in the large seating area. This is one of the few places you can bring outside snacks and beverages. Insider tip: Capacity is limited to 30, so book your spot during the peak times of mornings and weekends.

23. Sloomoo Institute – Buckhead

Experience a sensory wonderland when you run through a puddle of slime, launch slime slingshots, and make your own slime creation from over 60 scents, 8 textures, and tons of colors. Best for kids 4 and older, with parent supervision required for those up to age 14. Insider tip: Wear play clothes and pull long hair back in a ponytail.
