You can walk to the top of the shorter slides or enjoy lift service to the longer ones. And there are hundreds of feet of slides to enjoy. Passes start at $29.

Note: Riders must have shorts or a swimsuit and sneakers, water shoes, or sandals with a backstrap to ride the slopes.

2. Synthetic Tubing

Looking for the fun of a waterslide without getting wet? The summer tubing park will keep you dry but deliver the thrills. Ride to the top on the "magic carpet" and fly down the slopes on a cushy tube!

The park also features a mountain biking racing series!

Note: Riders must be at least five years of age. Bicycles and safety gear are available for rent.

4. Hogan's Alley Paintball at the Ridge

The paintball fields are open in the summer, with one of the best paintball facilities in Connecticut. There is a variety of equipment and experiences, with options for parties and season passes. While paintball is fun for the whole family, the age recommendation is eight years (14+) for tournament markers. Powder Ridge offers open play on the weekends, but private groups can book time on weekdays.
