Nothing says fall like a cool-weather festival, with pumpkinsdoughnuts, and apples abounding. Add to these highlights some carnival rides, treats, and live music, and you've got a wow-worthy weekend destination. Fortunately, there are plenty of fall festivals happening in 2021 in Westchester and the Hudson Valley.

Below are our top picks for area fall festivals, several of which were featured in our roundup of September activity highlights. With at least one festival almost every week from Labor Day through late October, we hope your family can enjoy more than one. For even more options, refer to our guide to the best places for apple picking, many of which include festival-like added attractions.

There's loads more to do this fall, so keep tabs on our Activities Calendar and follow us on Facebook to stay informed.
