Looking for the best things to do in San Francisco and the Bay Area this Mother's Day weekend? Here are some events and activities to add to your list for this weekend.

This weekend is Mother's Day, and what better way to celebrate Mom than with activities and events you can do together? That's what moms really want—time with the kids in their lives! And a nap.

There are many ways to celebrate this weekend, like the Roaring Camp Mother's Day Train ride through the redwoods, followed by a delicious brunch. Or how about salsa dancing and flowers at Union Square in Bloom? That evening, bring a lawn chair (but don't make Mom carry it) to a screening of The Parent Trap at Thrive City.

So to all mothers, grandmothers, aunts, sisters, and other mother figures: This weekend is all YOU. Happy Mother's Day, from all of us at Mommy Poppins. If you need to remind your kids, here are some DIY Mother's Day cards and easy brunch recipes kids can make.
