Get a special behind-the-scenes tour at the Oakland Zoo Veterinary Hospital and see how the special team of veterinarians care for the animals. You'll see radiology and surgical suites, a small laboratory, a pharmacy, wide transportation docks, and LEED Gold certification. From small birds to large tigers and grizzly bears, this is where all the care happens. 

Tours are on select Wednesdays and Saturdays and start right at 10 a.m. Kids must be at least 5 years old to participate, and those under 18 must have an adult with them. There are 12 participants max allowed on the tour.

Masks and proof of vaccination are needed. ​
