Though it is a film about scaring and being scared, most kids 5 and older should be recognize that it is all in good fun. Even for younger or more sensitive kids, only a few moments are likely to be problematic, most involving the bad-guy monster Randall. Luckily, since the film is available on DVD, chances are parents and/or children are at least somewhat familiar with it. We chose the movie's scariest sequence, (in which Mike and later Boo are strapped into a scream extracting device), to take a stroll around the theatre.

The film screens in 3D. Each screening starts with Mike and Sulley live on stage for a holiday show. Photo ops abound on the main floor and in the downstairs lobby.

On Saturdays and Sundays, El Capitan guests can join Boo for breakfast before the 10am show at Disney's Soda Fountain & Studio Store, (adjacent to the theater).  Seating is limited, reservations required.

Daily show times through January 6, 2013, are 10am, 1pm, 4pm, and 7pm. The Tiny Tot Tuesday screening features reduced sound levels and partially dimmed lights.

Parking rates at the Hollywood & Highland Center are $2 for up to four hours with validation from El Capitan Theatre. Check with the theater for daily screening schedule.
