Disney on Ice Brings Moana and Elsa Show to NYC Metro Area
A Disney on Ice show skates into the greater New York City area this November with some of the entertainment company's most popular female characters. This Dare to Dream production features Moana for the first time, but also Belle of Beauty and the Beast, Elsa and Anna of Frozen fame, and plenty more princesses.
The family show kicks off in the metro region at the Prudential Center in Newark, November 1-5. It then plays Barclays Center in Brooklyn, November 9-12, and finally at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Long Island, November 15-November 26.

Moana brings her seafaring adventure to the ice for the first time.
The show, hosted by Mickey and Minnie Mouse, will showcase five main heroines: Moana, Belle, Elsa and Anna, and Rapunzel of Tangled, and Cinderella. They're also joined by Flynn Ryder from Tangled, Beast, Olaf, Maui, and more.
Expect special sequences from the featured heroines, including heartwarming sisterly scenes with Elsa and Anna, bravery from our favorite adventurer, Moana, and lively interactions between Belle and the castle's many inhabitants. Kids will likely gawk not only at the dance moves, but the costumes, lighting, and more over-the-top production elements.

Anna and Elsa appear in this Disney on Ice show.
A Mommy Poppins Houston writer caught an earlier production of the Dare to Dream show before Moana and Belle were added to the roster, but she shared some great tips on what to expect from this type of massive stadium production for first-time attendees:
Once the show starts, it's hard not to get caught up in the Disney magic. Most of your favorite characters, from old to new, make an appearance, although the scenes from those moments might vary in length....
If anyone at your house has a thing for princesses, this year's ice show will literally have her jumping out of her seat... And don't be afraid to sing along!
Find tickets on Ticketmaster.com, or read more at DisneyOnIce.com, which also previews additional upcoming shows. Prices start at $20, but go on up from there. There are multiple showtimes most days, but tickets went on sale this summer and some popular times and seats are starting to sell out.
