Exploring Rainbow Playspace Indoor Playground
Rainbow Playspace is a new indoor playground in Sheepshead Bay for kids under 10. It's a welcome addition to a neighborhood where options for indoor play have been limited.
The interior has been designed with soft, pastel colors to make the space inviting for young kids. It's cozy, bright, and the play areas are kept clean and neat by the owner and employees who routinely tidy up.

Kids can take a flying leap into the ball pit.
At the heart of the play space is a gigantic ball pit, surrounded by slides, ball blasters, spinning wheels, and bouncy balls. My kids loved playing in this area. They also really enjoyed the foam pit and the hand pedal go-kart course.
The playground also features a flower house slide, a climbing hill, a shopping area, a trampoline, foam blocks, and a merry-go-round. Many of the activities and equipment are scaled-down and padded, so even babies and toddlers can safely enjoy them.
For parents, there's plenty of seating around the various play areas. You can also enjoy coffee, snacks, and ice cream in the cafe right next to the play space. Rainbow Playspace has a party room for birthdays and celebrations off to the side of the play area. Two different packages are available for birthdays.
Open play is available daily, starting at $24 per child for 2 hours, or $35 for unlimited play.
