Spring is here and Passover and Easter are coming up soon. We've rounded up several celebrations, and you'll also want to check out our posts on Easter egg hunts in Central CT and Fairfield County.

Easter Bunny Train at the Danbury Railway Museum (Fairfield County)
Take a ride on a vintage train and visit with the Easter Bunny in his railroad car! He'll have a special gift for each child and will pose for photos. There will be crafts, games and tattoos to enjoy before touring the museum exhibits. Reservations recommended.
Saturday-Sunday through April 4. $10 per person. Under 2 - free.
Project Oceanology Seal Watch Cruises (New London County)
It is the final weekend of this educational program that begins with a video about the beloved seal. Then you'll board the Enviro-lab and travel to some of the favorite places the seals hang out. These marine mammals are native of Maine, but live in the Long Island Sound for winter. Dress warmly and wear waterproof shoes and bring motion- sickness medication if that is an issue for you.
Saturday-Sunday. Adults - $25; Children - $20.
"The Brothers Grimm and a Showgirl" at the Milford Center for the Arts (New Haven County)
Pantochino Productions brings this creative, fun and wacky family musical to Milford for three days. The show has been touring to schools around the state with great success. All ages are welcome.
Friday-Sunday. $18 online, $20 at the door.

Spring Celebration and Egg Hunt (Fairfield County)
The Woodcock Nature Center in Wilton is hosting this family-fun day that will go on rain or shine! Bring your own basket and hit the trails for an egg-hunting hike. You'll enjoy a hayride, crafts, egg decorating and visits with the animals. Reservations and pre-payment required.
Members - $12; non-members - $15.
Teddy Bear Health Clinic at Imagine Nation (Hartford County)
Bring your favorite teddy bear or stuffed animal and get them a full wellness check! Learn about healthy eating and visit the dentist and stitching station. There will be several other exhibits to explore while learning about healthy living.
Members - free; non-members - $10.
Egg Hunt at Hollow Park in Woodbury (Litchfield County)
Children under 10 are welcome to this festive event. Pictures with the Easter Bunny start at 9:30am, and then the chocolate egg hunt starts promptly at 10am. Donations of money or non-perishable food items will be collected for the food bank.
Free.
A Dragon's Lair at the Yale Peabody Museum (New Haven County)
Learn all about the delicate dragonfly's habitat during this fun, informative class at the Peabody. What plants do they like? What is their life cycle like? You'll find out and then be prepared to create your own private place for them in your yard. Please pre-register.
Members - $15; non-members - $20.
Fireside Stories at Meigs Point Nature Center (New Haven County)
Hammonasset State Park is a beautiful place to be under the stars at night! Bring the family, a blanket and a marshmallow stick. Ranger Russ will provide the marshmallows, folk tales and stories as you sit by the fire and enjoy.
Free.
Pilobolus Family Workshop (Litchfield County)
Celebrate spring and bring the whole family to move with world renowned American dance company Pilobolus. Workshops are open to all ages and movement abilities. Please pre-register.
$25 per family.

Nature Trail Easter Egg Hunt (Fairfield County)
The Trumbull Nature and Arts Center invites you and your family to search for Easter eggs on the nature trails. Donations are welcome and benefit the Student Leadership Team. Pre-registration is required.
Free.
Curious George at Westport County Playhouse (Fairfield County)
Everyone's favorite little monkey is the focus of this new musical for children Pre-K through grade 3. See what kind of trouble the little guy can get into on "All you can eat meatball day." Many grins and giggles for all.
$20 per person.
Scout Day at the CT Science Center (Hartford County)
Come in uniform and spend the day exploring with other scouts from around the state. There will be a scouts-only scavenger hunt that can earn you a new patch. There are over 165 interactive exhibits and activities to enjoy.
$12 for scouts and guests who pre-register; $14.95 at the door.
Passover Palooza! (New Haven County)
Join the JCC of Greater New Haven to celebrate and learn about Passover. Kids of all ages are welcome to recreate the story of this sacred holiday. You'll make treats and participate in a passover themed obstacle course.
Members- $5; non-members - $7.
