Best Spots to Take Pictures with Santa in Orlando for Christmas

Santa Claus is coming to town! While pictures with Santa may be different when it comes to safety measures, several Orlando venues have found creative ways to make it a magical experience for kids and families. Read on to find the best places to get pictures with Santa around Central Florida.

For families who are not comfortable being out in public, these online Santa visits are perfect to get kids excited for Santa's big night.

Pictures with Santa in the Orlando Area

Altamonte Mall —Altamonte Springs

Through December 24
Take professional photos with Santa with a contactless visit through Memory Grove at the Altamonte Mall. Reservations are required. Safety measures are in place, including enhanced cleaning and social distancing guidelines. While visiting Memory Grove, guests can step inside a few of the holiday trees for fun photo opportunities.

Bass Pro Shops—Orlando

Through December 24
Families can get a free 4x6 photo with Santa as well as a free shareable video at Bass Pro Shops in Orlando with a “Contactless Claus” visit. Additional photo packages are available. Be sure to bring your Christmas list for Santa’s mailbox. Kids will also receive a holiday craft kit to bring home. Online reservations are required to visit with Santa, and guests must undergo temperature screenings. Guests can browse the store and get some Christmas shopping done while enjoying the wildlife displays and large aquarium in the store.

Cranes Roost Park—Altamonte Springs

Saturday, December 4 and continues Tuesdays through December 21
The fun begins on Saturday, December 4 with the Light Up the Holidays festive event. Then, visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus each Tuesday at Cranes Roost Park from 6-8pm. Bring your camera for pictures with Santa. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Admission is free.  

The Florida Mall—Orlando

Through December 21
Sit with Santa or a socially-distanced Santa photo experience is available at the Florida Mall. Santa and his helpers will wear masks at all times. Online reservations are strongly recommended, however walk-up guests can wait in line for a photo opportunity.

Gaylord Palms—Kissimmee

Through December 24
Meet the big guy himself at Gaylord Palms and take professional photos in a festive holiday setting. There are four photo packages available for purchase. Enjoy many other Christmas attractions during your visit, including “Mission: Save Christmas Featuring Elf," Snow Flow Mountain, Cirque Spirit of Christmas, Gingerbread Decorating, Secret Santa Scavenger Hunt, and more.

The Mall at Millenia—Orlando

Through December 24
Santa returns to the Mall at Millenia with a special, safe setting for families. Visits are contactless and Santa is seated at a distance. Fun photo props are available for kids to sit on. Advanced reservations are required. Kids leave their wish lists in Santa's mailbox. For those just meeting Santa, and not taking photos, a reservation is still required.

Oviedo Mall—Oviedo

Through December 24
Take professional photos with Santa at the Oviedo Mall. Reservations are strongly recommended, and walk-ups will only be available as space allows.

The Santa Workshop Experience—Orlando

Through December 24
Now at ICON Park, the team is “SANTAtized” for the safety of the guests, Santa, and his team. Reservations are required, and guests must have their temperatures checked and sanitize their hands upon entrance. All children receive a free ride on The Wheel in a private holiday capsule (additional riders get 50 percent off tickets). There is also a Pearl Express train ride, and plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance.


Through January 2
Travel to the Wild Arctic to meet Santa Claus himself and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer at SeaWorld Orlando's Christmas Celebration. Photo packages are available. Be sure to stay after the sun goes down to enjoy the festive light show in the Sea of Trees, Sesame Street Christmas Parade, and so much more.

Wall Crawl—Orlando

Sundays through December 26 and Thursday, December 23
This one-of-a-kind, semi-private experience allows families a full hour with Santa, including stories, songs, and photos among 10 different holiday backdrops and fun props. Guests are welcome to take as many photos as they'd like, and professional photos are an optional upgrade. Reservations are required and capacity is limited. Santa and families must adhere to social distancing requirements, and enhanced cleaning protocols are in place.  

Wekiva Island—Longwood

Through December 20
See both Santa and Mrs. Claus during Wekiva Island’s Winter Wonderland. Bring your camera to take your own photos. There are also snow flurries daily for the kids to enjoy. Wekiva River sleigh rides are available on select days as well. Other events and activities include a Christmas tree forest, outdoor movie nights, Breakfast with Santa and more.
