President Reagan's Birthday Celebration
To honor President Ronald Reagan on the anniversary of his birthday, the President of the United States has designated that a program be held at President Reagan’s Memorial Site at The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library each year. This year would have been Reagan's 112th birthday.
Dr. Henry Kissinger delivers this year's keynote address.
The Commanding General at United States Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton conducts an outdoor ceremony starting at 11am, with a musical prelude by the Camp Pendleton Marine Division Band beginning at 10:30am. The ceremony continues with a color guard, chaplain, a brass quintet, a 21-gun salute, and the placing of an official White House wreath on President Reagan’s gravesite along with Dr. Kissinger's keynote remarks.
This outdoor event is free to attend, however reservations are suggested. Regular Museum admission applies to visit the Reagan Museum and Air Force One Pavilion.
