If you've got an 8-12 year-old interested in STEM or movie-making, hurry up and run to the nearest computer; Apple just opened registration for its FREE summer mini camps in coding and more STEM subjects.
The mini sessions, which run over three consequetive days, are offered at a dozen Apple store locations throughout New Jersey and are 100% free, so slots are going fast.

Have you ever wondered what might be below us? If your kid loves adventure and learning about bats, stalagtites, stalagmites, and other rock formations, taking a cavern or mine tour is sure to be a ton of fun. The great part is that cave and mine tours are educational and exciting! We've rounded up all the best caves and caverns near Philly to take a tour nearby.
You'll have to drive quite a bit for these Pennsylvania caves, but it will be worth it, and some are close enough to other attractions to make a weekend getaway out of it. If you've never been in a cave, we've got tons of great tips for taking the plunge.

If you're looking for a way to burn some of your kids' energy, roller skating is a great activity that can be fun for the whole family. If you live in the neighboring areas, you've almost definitely heard of The Devon Horse Show and Country Fair. You've probably even watched the horses loading in and the ferris wheel going up. If you haven't heard of it, The Devon Horse Show and Country Fair is a week and a half long event that kicks off the summer every year and is tons of fun for the whole family. It's a unique experience and it offers a little something for everyone, including some really fun events.

With 42 acres of gardens and sculptures, the Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton, New Jersey, is perhaps not your typical family museum or park outing. Yet, even my 2-year-old was fascinated with the various art we discovered, including many pieces that towered well over both of our heads! Plus, he absolutely loved being outside and walking around the grounds, which are built on a portion of the former site of the New Jersey State Fairgrounds.
Situated just outside of Trenton, and just over the state line from Pennsylvania, the garden draws in visitors from all over. There are fun surprises hidden around seemingly every corner as you explore the grounds: a spray of mist, a lotus pond, little bridges, peacocks, and more. Whether you're 2 or 92, this outdoor museum likely holds something exciting for everyone.
