Holiday break plans can be tricky, but luckily, plenty is going on in San Franciso and the Bay Area to keep the kids busy. While movie marathons and pajamas all day sound perfect, there are some entertaining events and things to do in the Bay Area that get your family out of the house and exploring. You can catch some of the holiday events you might've missed, like WinterFest at Great America and Enchant Magic in San Jose, visit a museum in the middle of the week, like the IlluminOdyssey in San Mateo and Polar Play Days in San Jose, or see a show like The Lion King or Potted Potter. 

Here, we've rounded up our favorite things to do when most kids are on holiday break, and we're adding more events to our San Francisco activities calendar every day.
