Long Island Kids' Activities December 28 & 29: Ben Rudnick & Friends, Celebrating Kwanzaa, Penguin Dance Party

Merry Christmas Long Island Families! This weekend, head to the Long Island Children's Museum for a family concert featuring Ben Rudnick & Friends, and celebrate Kwanzaa through hands on activities. Two classics hit the screen at the Cinema Arts Centre. Follow the tale of Clara, who is given a nutcracker doll for Christmas, and enjoy Meet Me In St. Louis, a musical starring Judy Garland. The Children's Museum of the East End has plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained. Learn how to design and sew, make ice cream in a baggie, and create circus shaped waffles. Winter Family Beach Walk - Bridgehampton
Search for shells and seaweed, as well as signs animals leave behind at the South Fork Natural History Museum & Nature Center. After the walk, make shell or seaweed rubbings using paper, crayons, and pencils.

The Nutcracker - Huntington
Head to the Cinema Arts Centre for this film about Clara, who is given a nutcracker doll for Christmas. Clara cares for the nutcracker, which saves her from the evil Mouse King, and is transformed into a heroic prince.
