What you'll need:  Two popsicle sticks, two toothpicks, a strip of paper (about the same size as the popsicle sticks), and two rubber bands.

1. Place the paper between the sticks and wrap a rubber band around one end.  You can trim the paper at this point if it's too big.  Cut the toothpicks so they're about as long as the popsicle sticks are wide, and wedge one of them in between the two sticks.

2. Hold the second toothpick between the two popsicle sticks.  We put one on each side of the paper, but you should experiment.  Then wrap the second rubber band around the popsicle sticks at the other end.

3. It takes some trial and error to get these kazoos to work.  You can blow out or suck air in, depending on what works for you.  We had to kind of nite down on the posicle sticks a little to get ours right. Play around with them, and see what music you can make!
