Mini Maker Faire
WNS presents its annual family-friendly faire of creativity and innovation in the North Campus STEAM Academic Center. There are eight different maker stations involving woodworking, virtual reality, laser cutting, 3D design, Hummingbird robotics, cardboard construction, and more.
Attendees can select from a variety of interactive stations allowing them to engage with exciting new tools that tap into creativity and imagination. Projects range from exploring a far off land through virtual reality, coding a robot to move and light up, drawing a personalized logo for laser cutting, to building a project in cardboard or wood.
This event is open to current 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students from all schools. Parents are welcome; drop off is optional. Please feel free to invite a friend.
Drop-in any time from 9:30am – 12:30pm, though it is recommended that participants allow about an hour and a half to experience all of the stations.
