August is packed with family fun, and we’ve rounded up the best things to do with kids in Boston before the school bells start ringing. From street food and music to rides and games, summer festivals are stealing the show this month. So whether you hit up the North End for Saint Anthony's Feast or Salisbury for the Riverfest Music Festival, there's an event on our calendar that will fit your bill. Yankee Homecoming in Newburyport kicks off at the start of August, while the 187th Marshfield Fair will come to town toward the end of the month.
