Long Island Weekend Events November 20 & 21: Thanksgiving the Old Fashioned Way, Music, a Film Festival and a Pumpkin Smash

11/18/10 - By Katia

It would be nice to think that we aren't completely in prep mode quite yet, but you know better. I'll be doing anything I can this weekend to get ahead of the game for Thanksgiving. In between the grocery shopping and cleaning and searching for outfits to wear for the big feast, I have to get out and do something fun with my family. And we've rounded up some great options, so that you can do the same. Whether you want to see Thanksgiving prepared old school, attend a kid's film festival at Long Island Children's Museum, watch a beautiful and festive parade of boats or smash that pumpkin at the Cradle of Aviation Museum, we've got the info here for you.
