Gather on the grounds of Brooklyn’s historic Green-Wood Cemetery for an afternoon of eclipse viewing with special-edition glasses and telescopes with solar filters, as well as music, hands-on activities and self-guided tours.

Please Note:

  • The partial eclipse will begin at 2:10pm, reach maximum eclipse at 3:25pm, and end at 4:36pm.
  • Special-edition eclipse viewing glasses will be available on a first come basis.
  • Bring a blanket or something comfortable to sit on.
  • There is no onsite parking available.
  • The program will be adjusted depending on the weather, and any updates or changes will be shared on April 6th.
  • Use caution when viewing the solar eclipse. Do not look directly at the sun (even during an eclipse!), unless you are wearing the proper eye protection for viewing.
  • This event is free but advance registration is recommended.
