7 Long Island Farms Serving Up Sweet Roasted Corn

With the crisp fall season nipping at summer's heels, embrace it by enjoying a fall foodie favorite: sweet and delicious, farm-fresh roasted corn. It's a universal food enjoyed by every generation. Often slow roasted in its husk and then dipped in mouth-watering butter, this tasty treat can be found at various spots across Long Island.

Harbes Barnyard Adventure

Stop by the food stand for popcorn, produce and savory corn. Then enjoy the paid admission area of Mattituck Farms where kids can explore seven acres of hands-on learning experiences including animals, play areas, slides, swings and a Hedge Maze. Pick up a box of freshly baked apple cider donuts too!

Harbes Western Farm Stand

This spot serves freshly picked corn, slow roasted with optional butter. The kiddies can then have some hee-haw fun at the outdoor paid admission hoe down adventure with rides, activities and more.

Gabrielsen's Country Farm

Pick up hardy mums, hay bales and fall decor. The sweet roasted corn is made fresh daily. Jams, jellies, and maple syrup round up the available sugary treats available here.

Bayview Farms & Market

The smell of fresh baked pies and cookies waft throughout the market. A huge corn roasting machine greets you at this indoor/outdoor space. Kids can swing around on the outdoor jungle gym too.

This 1,100-acre family farm boasts great produce, though, with fields of pick your own pumpkins and a variety of seasonal vegetables. The farm has a corn maze and delicious roasted corn for sale on weekends.

Organics Today Farm

Search for the perfect organic pumpkin in this 3-acre field and then relax with a hay ride or a delicious homemade treat. Choose from goodies such as roasted corn, apple cider donuts, and baked apples. The farm also has an organic market, which sells raw honey, freshly baked pies, and produce.

The fall festival at this family friendly farm offers activities including pumpkin picking, hay rides, pumpkin bouncy house, fire truck slide, and a John Deere Trike play area. There are plenty of treats to enjoy too, including roasted corn, homemade candy apples, and local apple cider.
