As we ring in the new year (how is it 2019 already??), there's lots to do for some family fun in the DC area this weekend. Enjoy the final showings of musicals and holiday lights before they're gone for the season. With mild weather in the forecast, this is a perfect weekend to grab some skates and hit the outdoor rink at Washington Harbour. Or head indoors for storytime, singalongs, and play.  Whatever you choose, have fun with your kids as you carve out the first memories of the year as a family.
