Weekend Fun for DC Kids: Egg Hunts, Fishing Derby, Bluebells April 6-7, 2019

From flowers to springtime carnivals, this first weekend of April screams the season. For families looking to kickstart the Easter celebrations, there are egg hunts and bunny brunches on the docket. The National Cherry Blossom Festival is still in full swing, but they aren't the only flowers in town - bluebells are coming into season now, too, and families can get their fill this weekend, as well.
Other options include opening day celebrations for a different kind of season: baseball and fishing!
Whatever you add to the shared family calendar, Mommy Poppins hopes you have a great weekend, soaking up the days with some good old-fashioned quality time.
