All of these restaurants open on Thanksgiving near DC are kid-friendly. In fact, many of them offer special pricing for kids ages 12 and under. Restaurants Open on Thanksgiving in Washington, DC
For only $30 per person, your family can enjoy a three-course Thanksgiving dinner at Angolo that includes an appetizer (carrot ginger soup, mesclun salad, or Caesar salad), turkey with all of the traditional fixings, and a choice of sweet potato, apple, or pecan pie with vanilla ice cream on top for dessert.

If you're looking for a fancier Thanksgiving meal, this restaurant in the Park Hyatt is offering an a la carte, three-course prepaid menu for $125 per person and $55 per child under 12. You can choose from five appetizers, five main courses, and three desserts, and everyone will get butter-whipped potatoes and green-bean-and-mushroom casserole to share. If you're not a turkey fan, you can get duck, halibut, prime rib, or mushroom risotto as your main course.
This modern, upscale farm-to-table eatery is offering a three-course pre fixe Thanksgiving dinner menu for $70 per person and $40 per child 12 and under. The menu will offer multiple options per course, including turkey and giblet gravy with all of the traditional sides.
Farmers & Distillers offers a three-course prix fixe Thanksgiving dinner both at the restaurant and for pickup or delivery. The dinner, which costs $41.99 per person and $20 per child 12 and under, includes a choice of turkey, honey-glazed spiral ham, or three other main entree options (including mushroom "meat" loaf for vegetarians), a variety of sides, and a choice of butternut squash soup or salad for appetizer, as well as five options for dessert. The restaurant also offers a Thanksgiving Weekend at Home menu, which includes partially cooked food that you can pick up the day before Thanksgiving and finish cooking at home.
Farmers Fishers Bakers will serve the exact same Thanksgiving Day menu as its sibling restaurant, Farmers & Distillers (see above), both at its restaurant and for pickup or delivery. It will also offer the same Thanksgiving Weekend at Home menu to pick up the day before Thanksgiving and finish cooking at home.
Lincoln serves up an all-you-can-eat Thanksgiving feast.
For those who want a true Thanksgiving feast (and who doesn't?), Lincoln is providing an all-you-can-eat carving station with turkey and gravy, braised short rib, and BBQ miso-glazed salmon, as well as endless sides such as mac and cheese, cheddar grits, collard greens, and more. Each guest can also choose one of four appetizers and three desserts. The feast costs $60 per person and only $20 per child age 12 and under. Lincoln is also offering a Thanksgiving At Home menu that includes turkey with gravy and cranberry sauce, several sides, salad, rolls, and dessert for 1 to 10 people to be picked up anytime between 11:30am and 8pm on Thanksgiving Day.
For $65 per person, families can enjoy a three-course prix fixe menu featuring freshly carved turkey and all the fixings at this downtown DC steakhouse. If you'd rather stay home, the restaurant also offers a takeout Thanksgiving feast.
Eat all you can handle from Teddy & The Bully Bar's Thanksgiving carving station.
President Theodore Roosevelt loved simple American comfort food, and the Thanksgiving menu at his namesake, Teddy & The Bully Bar, certainly reflects that. For $68 per person and $20 per child, you'll enjoy an "all you can handle" carving station with turkey, prime rib, and miso-glazed salmon, endless helpings of eight classic Thanksgiving sides including mac and cheese and stuffing, and an ice cream sundae bar with all sorts of toppings such as gummy bears, M&Ms, and Butterfingers.

This iconic Southern restaurant is open on Thanksgiving, but it's also offering a Thanksgiving Feast To Go for pickup the day before. You can choose a fried or oven-roasted turkey and take your pick from a variety of sides and desserts, ranging from the traditional mac and cheese and stuffing to more unique offerings like Carolina gumbo and Cognac bread pudding. All orders must be placed by noon on November 22.

Founding Farmers offers three way to enjoy its Thanksgiving meal.
10. Founding Farmers — Potomac (also in DC and in Reston and Tysons, VA)
All of the Founding Farmers locations offer three ways to celebrate Thanksgiving. You can enjoy a three-course prix fixe dinner at the restaurant that includes a variety of traditional side dishes like mashed potatoes, herb-butter green beans, and cornbread stuffing for $41.99 per person and $20 for kids 12 and under (the same menu that's offered at its sibling restaurants, Farmers & Distillers and Farmers Fishers Bakers). You can preorder that same meal, hot and ready to eat, for pickup or delivery for the same price. Or, you can order a complete, partially cooked Thanksgiving dinner for four, along with various add-ons, to pick up the day before Thanksgiving and finish cooking at home. Prices vary for this option, and you must place your order by November 19 at noon.
11. Seasons 52 — Columbia and North Bethesda (also in McLean, VA)
All three locations of Seasons 52, which offer seasonal menus and 52 wines by the glass, are open on Thanksgiving which their usual autumn menu. If you prefer to eat at home, you can order a complete Thanksgiving dinner for four to six to pick up on the day before Thanksgiving. Then, all you'll have to do is heat it up on Thanksgiving and serve it. The dinner costs $175 and includes antibiotic-free turkey, a field greens salad, five sides, and pumpkin-flavored desserts.
12. Normandie Farm — Potomac
Normandie Farm will serve its famous Thanksgiving buffet from 11am-6:30pm this year, with all guests required to wear masks while in the buffet line. In addition to turkey, the buffet will feature a huge variety of salads, meats, sides, and more. There will also be a raw bar and a dessert buffet. The buffet will cost $65 per person and only $18 per child age 12 and under.

Sit down for an old-fashioned Thanksgiving feast at Gadsby's Tavern.
13. Gadsby's Tavern — Alexandria
This historic restaurant will have four seating times on Thanksgiving: noon, 2:30pm, 5pm, and 7:30pm. The three-course menu will include a choice of peanut soup or a house salad to start, turkey and ham with all of the traditional fixings or herb-crusted rockfish filet with smashed red potatoes and veggies for the main course, and a choice of pumpkin or pecan pie for dessert. Bread and cornbread, soft drinks, iced tea, and coffee are also included with the meal, which costs $58 per person and $29 per child age 12 and under.

14. Wildfire — McLean
Thanksgiving dinner is served family-style at Wildfire. The meal starts with three appetizers, followed by a choice of two salads, two entrees (options include roasted turkey, cedar-planked salmon, and roasted beef tenderloin), two sides, and two desserts. The dinner costs $59.95 per person and $27.95 for kids age 12 and under. Wildfire will also offer a Thanksgiving carryout menu.
15. Essy's Carriage House — Arlington
Essy's will serve a four-course Thanksgiving feast for only $42 per person. Start with spiced pumpkin soup followed by salad and breads, and then get turkey and all the fixings (or opt for Alaskan salmon or London broil instead). For dessert, choose chocolate fudge cake cake or pie (pumpkin, pecan, or apple).
