The Autry Museum in Griffith Park
Yee Haw! Giddy up on over to the Autry for Day of the Cowboy and Cowgirl—a celebration of the old West's most iconic characters.
Visitors can enjoy a variety of family-friendly Western-themed activities, including trick ropers, live music, country line dancing, film screenings, cowboy poetry, horse grooming/petting workshops, and photo ops.
Scheduled highlights include a performance for children by Jammin with Jared at 10:30am, screenings of The Gene Autry Show TV episodes at noon and 4:30pm, and Country line dancing lesson and dancing on the plaza at 3:30pm.
Guests can take advantage of extended hours, as the museum stays open until 7pm. Street Food Cinema screens Back to the Future III at 8pm, (separate ticket purchase required).
