Experience USS Constitution as a recruit on her historic gun crew. In this family-friendly program, participants can learn about the tasks and skills required to make USS Constitution a successful warship.

Learn the mechanics of cannons in the Museum and put your gun crew to the test by firing an Alka-seltzer cannon. Then, on board USS Constitution, work together to pass powder between the decks, run a gun drill, and visit behind-the-scenes spaces on the Ship. Learn about Constitution‘s mighty firepower in this active, fun, and educational program.

 

This program is free to the public and space is limited. Please email sdunbar@usscm.org by August 2 to register for the experience. Recommended for ages 10 and up.
