Clean up, clean up, everybody everywhere: It's time to put this year's Actor's Gang production of Toy Story Tempest away. 

The Actors Gang is at it again, this year putting a Toy Story spin on Shakespeare's The Tempest.

The Actors' Gang presents its annual free Shakespeare-in-the-Park series for families. This year the gang reimagines Tempest with a little help from our friends in the toy bin.

For the past 12 years, Woody (Prospero) and Jessie (Miranda) have been stranded on a magical deserted island. After a great tempest, Buzz, Hamm, Rex, Slinky, Bo Peep, and the rest of the gang are summoned to the island by Woody with the hope of being reunited with their beloved owner Andy. On their journey to find their way home, they make new friends and learn valuable lessons about love, loyalty, and forgiveness.

The Actors’ Gang shows typically feature pop music, magic, dance, and combat, and a no-holds-barred approach to fun and revelry. The shows are super accessible for all ages, and no previous familiarity with Shakespeare is required.

The play is presented free on Saturdays and Sundays in August in Culver City's Media Park. Bring a blanket or low lawn chair (and sunscreen and hats, as the audience may be in direct sunlight). Each performance is followed by free treats and a celebration where audience members can meet the characters.
