Sunday Studio at MOCA Geffen offers hands-on fun for everyone!

December's edition of MOCA’s party for art lovers of all stripes, museum guests can make cool art, learn a sustainable skill, shop the holiday market, join the family dance party, grab a bite, and see Olafur Eliasson: OPEN.

Activities:

All About Optics! Participants create their own optical devices and play with light after experiencing Olafur Eliasson: OPEN.

Let's Get in a Pickle Together! is a family friendly hands-on pickling workshop, introducing folks to basic concepts in fermentation and vinegar pickling for the home kitchen. Drop in the group pickling experience and come out with a jar of seasonal quickles to take home and enjoy! Participants can expect to learn extra pickling tips and insights drawn from the diasporic culinary heritage of LA based fermented food instructor, Jess Wang.
