Open: Disneyland & Disney California Adventure
- see all dates
Californians can once again enter the Happiest Place on Earth, as Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure have reopened with limited capacity as of April 30.
Favorite rides and attractions available to park visitors at Disneyland include Indiana Jones Adventure, Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Pirates of the Caribbean, “it’s a small world”, Peter Pan’s Flight, and King Arthur Carrousel. New magic is coming to Haunted Mansion, and guests can discover a newly reimagined attraction in Fantasyland - Snow White’s Enchanted Wish.
No need to journey far, far away to visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. And it's practically new: Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance had not even been open 3 months when the parks shut down last March.
At Disney California Adventure, available attractions include Incredicoaster, Toy Story Midway Mania!, Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind, and The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure, to name a few.
Characters such as Mickey and Minnie are out and about at both parks, ready for distanced selfies. Look for them to pop up in unexpected places. (Perhaps giving a new meaning to Hidden Mickeys!)
The website details which attractions are currently open at Disneyland and California Adventure.
Some services and attractions are suspended for the time being, including MaxPass, FASTPASS, character greetings, parades, and nighttime spectaculars, magical makeovers at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, and single rider queues.
Appropriate face coverings are required for each guest age 2 and older.
To enter a park, both a park reservation and a valid ticket, for the same park on the same date, are required for guests age 3 and older.
Admission to the theme parks is available only to California residents in the initial reopening stage. Starting June 15, the parks open to out-of-state guests.
