Guests can enjoy a variety of inspired activities and experiences across the museum campus, including hands-on art workshops, dynamic dance sessions, story time read-alouds, face painting, and family-friendly tours. All outdoor activities are free to attend.

On the Smidt Welcome Plaza:

    (Recommended for children up to 7 years old, but babies are always welcome.

*Free with museum admission. All outdoor activities are free to attend without museum admission.

NexGenLA is a free youth membership for kids and teens 17 and under who live in L.A. County. NexGenLA members can visit the museum for free anytime and bring one guest for free admission. Kids can sign up online for NexGenLA membership.
