The Annual OC Japan Fair is one of the largest Japanese cultural festivals in Southern California.

Guests can enjoy shopping, indulging in Japanese cuisine, and learning about Japanese culture, with live performances, games, Kimono models and more.

Come hungry: the fair offers 55 types of Japanese cuisine including ramen, okonomiyaki, takoyaki, kakigori, yakitori, sushi, BBQ, taiyaki, onigiri, and wagyu.

This year's festival features an Oiran Dochu, or an “alluring procession,” a reenactment of processions done by the oiran, courtesans of Yoshiwara in the Edo Period, to advertise the houses in which they worked.

Performance highlights include traditional Japanese instruments, J-POP Music, Kimono show, Tuna Cutting show (world class sushi!), and Cosplay parade and contest. A featured performer is Kazuhisa Uekusa, known as WES-P (seen on both America's Got Talent  and and Britain's Got Talent).
