Very cool: the latest IMAX film at the California Science Center explores the wonders and mysteries of the frozen continent: Antactica.

About the film: What happens in Antarctica affects every single one of us. It is the coldest, driest and windiest place on Earth, and has the roughest, most inhospitable seas, yet weird and wonderful creatures thrive on the continent in astounding abundance. With never-before-seen footage, Antarctica 3D  brings audiences to the farthest reaches of this wild and majestic continent.

The film is narrated by Benedict Cumberbatch and has a runtime of 45 minutes.

Antarctica 3D screens daily at the California Science Center, June 21 through October 9, 2025, with showtimes at 11am and 2pm.
