The California Science Center wants you to see the big picture... for free!

As the impact of the devastating wildfires continues to be felt across Southern California, from Monday February 3 through Sunday February 9, all movie showings at the California Science Center IMAX Theater will be free of charge for all guests, thanks to a collaboration with IMAX Corporation. 

General admission to the California Science Center is always free.

The California Science Center is pleased to provide a safe, welcoming space for comfort, connection, and science learning as our community navigates this unprecedented period together.

Advanced reservations online are strongly recommended. Groups of 15 or more people should call (213) 744-2019 for reservations. 

Daily IMAX Screening schedule

9:30am: Blue Whales 3D  (Groups only)
10:30am: The Blue Angels
11:30am: Blue Whales 3D 
12:30pm: Deep Sky 
1:30pm: The Blue Angels 
2:30pm: Blue Whales 3D 
3:30pm: Deep Sky 
4:30pm: The Blue Angels (Saturdays and Sundays only)

Blue Whales 3D and The Blue Angels have runtimes of 45 minutes. Deep Sky has a runtime of 40 minutes
