Adding to the eclectic offerings happening in our neck of the woods this weekend are a couple events in NYC that contribute to the variety of options.
Venture down to Riverside Park for FlyNYC 2014--a FREE kite-flying festival that includes kite-making and live music.
If you’re up for a farther venture, head over to Coney Island for Sand Sculpting Contest And Unity Day, a FREE event with fundraising efforts to help families still recovering from Superstorm Sandy.
