This time of year, kids can find Santa ho-ho-ho-ing it up at most holiday events in the area, like tree lightings, holiday walks, and craft fairs. We've rounded up some of our other favorite places where the kids can see Santa in and around Boston. All the kids have to do is be sure that they're good, for goodness sake!

MALLS and SHOPPING AREAS - in every direction

Prudential Center, Boston: Daily from 11/20/2015 through 12/24/2015. Visits free; photo packages start at $20

Faneuil Hall, Boston: Friday 12/11/2015. Visits free.

Natick Mall, Natick: Daily from 11/14/2015 through 12/24/2015. Visits free; photo packages start at $25

Burlington Mall, Burlington: From 11/14/2015 through 12/24/2015. 

Cambridgeside Galleria, Cambridge: From 11/27/2015 through 12/24/2015. Visits free; photo package prices vary.

South Shore Plaza, Braintree: From 11/3/2015 through 12/24/2015; photo packages start at $20. The mall offers Caring Santa, a time for kids with special needs to visit with Santa before the mall opens on 12/6/2015.

Northshore Mall, Peabody: From 11/5/2015 through 12/24/2015; photo packages start at $20. Santa has a sparkling home, with a big green sleigh, a 23' Christmas Tree, and two reindeer. 


Smolak Farms - North Andover
Santa visits the farm each Sunday from 11/29/2015 through 12/20/2015 and also Saturdays 12/12/2015 and 12/19/2015. Check the Farm’s website for other holiday workshops and special events throughout December.

Verrill Farm - Concord
Santa visits on 12/5/2015 from 3pm-5pm. Great photo opportunity, plus live music and free cider for all.


ZooLights at the Stone Zoo: Santa awaits visits from children in Santa’s Castle daily; photos available through 12/23/2015. Included with ZooLights admission; photos extra.

Santa's Wonderland, Bass Pro Shops at Patriot Place, Foxborough: From 11/14/2015 through 12/24/2015. Enjoy a free photo with Santa, games, crafts and more at Santa’s Wonderland. Get a Bass Pass early in the day to avoid waiting in line to see Santa. Free

Santa Saturdays, Franklin Park Zoo, Boston: Santa is available for photos in the Tropical Forest Building on the first three Saturdays in December. Included with zoo admission. 

The Enchanted Village, Jordan's Furniture, Avon: Santa listens to holiday wishes from the little ones. Free

Festival of Trees, Mass Hort, Wellesley: Santa visits the Carriage House at Mass Hort’s headquarters. Check the website for specific dates and times. 

Paragon Carousel, Hull: Santa visits the historic carousel for photos. Photos start at $10.


Globe Santa: Whether kids are on the giving or receiving end of the Globe Santa, the program epitomizes the spirit of the man in the red suit.

Since 1956, Globe Santa has been The Boston Globe's annual appeal for needy children in Greater Boston. The Globe Santa Fund collects donations from the general public to purchase holiday gifts for underprivileged children.
